The beautiful game gets a Harvey Nichols makeover

I've always observed the really great retailers are all the same.... they all want to be totally different from the competition! Being 'better' than their competition is simply not good enough for real winners.

And one of the world's great 'top end' fashion retailers, Harvey Nichols, has just broken the mould with a really neat bit of lateral thinking. Early on this season they opened a hospitality box at the Ethiad Stadium, home to Manchester City, one of the world's richest and now England's top football club - meaning for the first time, retail therapy and the beautiful game can now sit happily side by side!

It's different and and providing it's totally on-brand, it shouldn't be an own goal. I wish them success and applaud their creative thinking.
